The new drawers incorporate an innovative 3D adjustment mechanism that offers precise independent adjustment of the drawer front panel height, tilt, and sideways position. This means that uniform gaps between drawers in cabinets can now be achieved more quickly and easily, ensuring the best possible appearance and maximum customer appeal in the finished product.
To ensure easy installation and to minimise assembly time, the new Tekform Slimline+ drawers feature an enhanced clipping mechanism that optimises secure engagement with front panels over a wide range of dimensions and weights. This novel mechanism also allows easy, intuitive front-panel disengagement should it become necessary to dismantle the drawers or replace the front panels.
After the front panels are installed, accurate adjustment is readily achieved with the new alignment system. This is conveniently placed at the front of the drawer for easy access and has separate colour-coded adjusters for tilt, height, and side positioning. Height and side positioning can be adjusted by up to ± 1.5 mm, making it easy to compensate for minor variations in cabinet manufacture and assembly.
As standard, Tekform Slimline+ drawers incorporate the latest Titus ART dampers, which ensure smooth, silent, controlled drawer movement with effortless opening and smooth, consistent, bounce-free closing. The advanced design and precision manufacture of Titus dampers also guarantee that their performance is maintained throughout the whole life of the furniture in which they are used.
The new Tekform Slimline+ drawers are fully compatible with the Tacto 2.0 push-to-open system, making them particularly attractive for contemporary furniture designs featuring handleless drawers.
The Tacto 2.0 system works with an operating gap of just 1.5 mm. It offers front gap adjustment to allow evenly aligned drawer fronts and spring force adjustment to ensure that drawers can always be opened with a light push. A further benefit is that the Tacto 2.0 system can be installed at any time, allowing existing products to be upgraded simply and cost-effectively to offer push-to-open functionality.
Titus offers Tekform Slimline+ drawers in depths from 270 to 550 mm. Minimum height requirements range from 115 mm for 70 mm wide drawers to 230 mm for 182 mm wide drawers. All types have a maximum load capacity of 40 kg.
