Ostermann has launched two new surface structures for its ABS edgings. One is a leather texture that has the realistic look and feel of real leather, the other a geo structure with delicate, criss-crossing grooves of varying depths, which creates attractive matt-gloss effects on matt surfaces.
In order to supply its customers with perfectly matching edging in look and feel to the latest furniture board designs, Ostermann regularly expands its portfolio of edging surfaces.
With 23 different gloss levels and embossings, Ostermann not only offers ABS edgings that match customers' furniture boards in colour and decor, but also in terms of gloss level and surface structure. With "leather" and "geo", the company now has new structures for its edging surfaces, which give furniture that certain "grip" right by the edge.
Leather: Looks real, feels real
Furniture surfaces with a leather look are always a highlight. They embody naturality and give interior spaces a cosy and warm feeling. This is, for the most part, based on the typical grain pattern of leather, with a unique texture and soft feel to it. With the new edging surface "leather texture", Ostermann's experts managed to transfer this characteristic to furniture edgings. So, for your furniture surfaces with a real leather look, you can now also get the perfect finish for the narrow surface. The new ABS edgings with leather texture are currently available in two plain colours (grey and beige) and with decor (Maya Bronze).
Geo - Delicate and vivid
The new geo structure by OSTERMANN with its delicate, criss-crossing grooves of various depths is reminiscent of the irregular structure of our earth's crust. It is currently available for ABS edgings in premium white and black. Thanks to this new structure, the tendentially rather simple, matt surfaces appear in a new, unusual look with a matching feel that creates a completely new style.
