Perfect angular cuts with MARTIN

With its T66 and T77 series sliding table saws, MARTIN, the Bavarian manufacturer of premium woodworking machines, offers high-performance solutions for precise, repeatable angular cuts on edges and surfaces. Thanks to intelligent software functions and comprehensive automation options, even complex cuts can be carried out efficiently and safely.

The sliding table saw is still a key tool in modern joineries, especially for cutting customised workpieces. While standard panels are now often processed on special panel saws, sliding table saws are now used for more demanding tasks such as mitre and rip cuts. The MARTIN T77 with double-sided swivelling saw blade makes such work considerably easier. Even in the standard version, the T66 and T77 models enable electronic swivelling up to 47° to the right.

A variety of equipment for every application

MARTIN offers a wide range of equipment options for precise angle cuts. This ranges from the simple, swivelling cross-cut fence to the MitreX double mitre fence and the automated Control system, which controls even complex double mitre cuts with process reliability.

A special plus: The basic equipment of every MARTIN sliding table saw includes a software function for length correction. After entering the desired angle, the exact setting dimension for the cross-cut fence is calculated automatically, even for double mitre cuts.

MitreX – lightweight, precise and versatile

The MitreX double mitre fence is recommended for delicate applications. It can be flexibly positioned on the trimming table, offers infinitely variable adjustment options from 0° to 90° and is optionally available with a digital angle display. An integrated scale system facilitates length compensation for defined angles.

Proven technology: the parallelogram cross table MARTIN offers the parallelogram cross table for large-area angle cuts where conventional cross tables reach their limits. This proven system ensures a generous support surface and reproducible precision – even at a swivelling angle of up to 47° – thanks to external cross-cut fences and a stable 90° locking mechanism.

Automatic correction with RadioCompens

The RadioCompens system takes care of automatic length compensation for angled and shift cuts. The parallelogram cross-cut table, machine control and digital cross-cut fences communicate with each other via a radio link. Even the cutting thickness of the saw blade is taken into account and corrected for maximum accuracy without manual readjustment.

Electromotor-controlled double mitre cuts

With the Control System, MARTIN sliding table saws go one step further: the fences are positioned by the machine control system using an electric motor. This enables maximum precision and convenience, especially for frequent angle changes and series production.

SafeMove – intelligent protection for greater safety

This is complemented by the SafeMove option, an automatically controlled guard. It dynamically adjusts its lateral position to the swivelling angle and blade projection for greater work safety and improved ease of use of the T77 PreX.
