The Insert Company returned to the Furniture Component Expo once again this year, bringing its specialist offering of zinc alloy, steel, and brass inserts, as well as an extensive range of furniture connectors, to the show's targeted audience.
Providing bespoke solutions – including turned metal parts, metal presswork, and various plated finishes – The Insert Company supplies distributors and end-users globally, with a particularly strong presence in the UK and European markets such as Sweden, The Netherlands, Austria, and Ireland.
Led by Sales Director, Kevin Broome, the company focuses on high stock levels in order to mitigate global shipping delays, and maintains a user-friendly website to assist customers with product selection.
“This year we had an even higher quality of clientele walking through the show,” enthuses Kevin. “Despite the downturn in customer confidence and the current political landscape, we really enjoyed meeting so many UK manufacturers and had some very productive conversations.”
At present, the company is targeting 10–20% business growth by expanding into new sectors. This includes a recent partnership with Hafren for the security screws, Fixi for the stone and granite worktop applications, Rampa for the wood inserts and Spax for the wood inserts.
“Looking ahead, our focus will continue to be on ensuring customers are happy, and that we meet all their requirements at the correct price point,” affirms Kevin.
