Titus demonstrates innovation at kbb Birmingham 2026

kbb Birmingham 2026 proved a resounding success for Titus, with the cabinet hardware manufacturer’s stand attracting significant interest from manufacturers, installers, and industry professionals throughout the four-day event. The company’s showcase of innovative solutions and new product launches generated considerable enthusiasm, reinforcing Titus’ position as a leading innovator in precision-engineered hardware.

The highlight of the Titus stand was the launch of two significant new drawer systems. Vitek, an ultra-thin metal drawer system designed for design-forward applications, gained considerable attention from visitors seeking premium aesthetic solutions. The system’s 3D locking device, which enables precise front panel alignment while offering flexibility with both full and single extension runners, received particular praise from manufacturers aiming to improve their product offerings. The easy engagement and disengagement mechanism demonstrated clear advantages for both production efficiency and end-user experience.

Equally impressive was the response to Trax-V, Titus’ new modular platform of undermount runners for wooden drawers. Incorporating the company’s renowned Adaptive Response Technology (ART) damping, the system’s smooth, quiet soft-closing performance resonated strongly with visitors. The 40 kg load capacity across both single and full-extension configurations demonstrated Titus’ commitment to delivering robust solutions for everyday furniture applications.

The expanded T-type hinge range continued to attract substantial interest, with live demonstrations of the T-type PressTo’s tool-free installation consistently drawing participants. Visitors were genuinely impressed by the audible click-lock mechanism and the time-saving potential of the 3Way snap-on mounting system. The elegant T-type Noir finish caught the eye of manufacturers focused on modern design aesthetics, while the T-type-i 170 with integrated damper proved popular among kitchen manufacturers seeking wide-opening solutions.

The enhanced Tekform Slimline+ drawer system’s three-dimensional front adjustment mechanism, with its colour-coded adjustment panels, showcased clear installation benefits. Many visitors appreciated the front-accessible adjustment feature, especially installers working with fitted furniture where rear cabinet access can be limited.

“The quality of conversations throughout the show was exceptional,” commented Phil Beddoe, UK Managing Director at Titus. “It’s tremendously encouraging to see such strong interest in our new product launches and to reconnect with long-standing partners while meeting potential new customers. The response confirms that our focus on Consumer Assembly Friendliness and precision engineering continues to address real-world manufacturing challenges.”
