Venjakob Maschinenbau – customer-focused coating processes

Whether it is kitchen fronts, light switches, photovoltaic systems or the radiator grille of a luxury car: the chances are high that a surface has been coated using a machine from Venjakob Maschinenbau.

Founded in 1963 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück as a metalworking shop, Venjakob has developed into an internationally established system manufacturer of surface finishing equipment for the automotive, furniture and plastics industries, including exhaust air purification and conveyor technology.

Simplifying and streamlining

“In surface finishing, machine and plant concepts must be flexibly adaptable to specific requirements,” says Christian Nüßer, who represents the third generation managing the family business. “From the very beginning, we have made it our mission to work closely with our customers in research and development, supporting them in meeting constantly changing demands.”

Tailored solutions for every company size and requirement

From standalone systems to modular plant concepts, Venjakob offers the right solution for every company size and level of requirement. After all, it also has to be economically viable. A small craft business with relatively low coating volumes is well served by the VEN SPRAY ONE, a compact automatic spraying machine.

Workpieces made of wood, glass and various plastics that were previously coated manually can be finished more quickly and with consistent quality using the VEN SPRAY ONE.

Cost-reducing ideas along the entire process chain

A key advantage of working with Venjakob is that customers receive solutions along the entire process chain, all of which can be expanded at any time. Time and again, Venjakob’s engineers surprise their customers – and often themselves – with innovative developments.

One example is last year’s newly developed inductive heating system for a hot-melt roller coating process, which significantly reduced operating and energy costs. Savings can also be achieved in cleaning and drying processes.

“It is always individual,” explains Christian Streit, Head of the Wood and Building Materials division at Venjakob. “We analyse what equipment the customer is currently using. During planning and development, ideas often emerge that generate further savings – whether by enabling the customer to make better use of their existing technology or by optimising it with our own solutions that have already proven successful in practice."

For all new developments, Venjakob ensures that they are energy and resource-efficient. Venjakob will be exhibiting at the Professional Woodworking Expo 2026 in Birmingham from 23rd to 25th June and looks forward to speaking with interested company representatives at its stand.
