Renowned Portuguese brand, Vista Alegre, has unveiled ‘Accento’ – its first furniture collection in 200 years, created in partnership with Italian design firm, Pininfarina.
The collection includes seven signature pieces – a dining table, sideboard, armchair, chair, and three coffee tables – each distinguished by its sculptural form and exquisite detail.
Inspired by the aesthetic codes of classic 1950s and ’60s automotive design, Accento features curved silhouettes reminiscent of sport seat designs as well as hand-stitched premium leather with diamond-pattern motifs. Ash wood has been selected for its resilience and fine grain, with all finishes executed by hand with meticulous precision.
A standout detail is the collection’s high-density injected foam (62 kg/m³) – far exceeding industry standards – which offers superior comfort and durability.
In the 20th century, Vista Alegre produced porcelain elements for car interiors, while members of its founding family were key figures in motorsport history.
