OSTERMANN now supplies a selection of wood veneer edgings available not only in standard widths, but also in any width between 16 mm and 100 mm. This service enables users to work with non-standard board thicknesses and to produce veneered components such as wooden slats efficiently.
The company stocks more than 70 wood types, four thicknesses and up to seven standard widths. The new option allows veneer edgings to be cut to any required width, offering flexibility for a range of applications, including the construction of slatted wall features.

The slitting of ABS edgings to any required width has long been part of the OSTERMANN service. This option is now also available for selected wood veneer edgings. Widths from 16 mm upwards can be produced to order and are available via the OSTERMANN online shop or by telephone.

Wooden slats continue to be used in a variety of interior applications, such as wall cladding, wardrobes and room dividers. Veneer edgings can be suitable for this purpose due to their consistent surface quality and ease of processing. The new cutting service provides a straightforward method of obtaining veneer edgings pre-cut to the desired width.
