Partridge Kitchens specialises in manufacturing and fitting of bespoke, high-end kitchens large and small. The Tiverton, Devon-based company manufactures a wide range of different kitchens and its personalised consultation process ensures that customers get exactly what they desire, even if it is the most unusual design request.
In addition to manufacturing kitchens, Partridge also undertakes any carpentry and joinery work to create a top quality finish from a single supplier.
All of the company’s kitchen units are manufactured to the same high specification in its purpose-built workshop located in the heart of the Devonshire countryside.
Partridge Kitchens is constantly striving to make its kitchens the best they could possibly be – to do so the company has invested in a Profit H08 CNC machining centre from Felder Group’s Format-4 range, along with a K700 professional sliding table saw and a FW950 wide-belt sander.
In concert, these woodworking machines allow Partridge to design and process every component in a bespoke kitchen to the highest standard and with the greatest accuracy, ensuring an excellent fit first time, every time.
“Having the CNC machine has made everything quicker, easier and more controlled,” explains company founder Kevin Partridge, “We have been able to expand what we do by utilising the
CNC machine, it has opened up a world of possibilities for us. With the nesting software we purchased to go with it – we can now utilise the sheet far greater, increasing profit whilst reducing waste.”
Having worked with Felder machinery for a couple of years now, Kevin comments: “I originally chose to buy machines from Felder Group UK because they took the time to understand my needs, their staff have a lot of experience and were able to advise me of different ways of working with the CNC machine.
“The Profit H08 was our first machine from the Felder Group and we have been so impressed with it we have bought two more machines since and are already thinking about our next purchase.”
