Graduates of SCA’s fast-track timber training course are gearing up for a celebratory trip to Sweden. Now in its 15th year, the course has proved as successful as ever.

Putting their new found timber knowledge into practice, the 14-strong group will tour SCA Timber Supply’s forests, mills and tree nursery. The visit, taking place between 17th-20th April, will also see graduates awarded their BTEC certification for passing the course.

As a business, SCA is dedicated to training and continues to support the core principle that training is good for business. The timber training course offered to customers is just one of the ways SCA supports its philosophy. SCA is also a sponsor of the Training Initiative of the Year award at the Builders’ Merchant News Awards.
Interest for SCA’s 2015-2016 training course, starting in September, is already running high and customers are advised to contact SCA before places are all taken.

Managing director, John Griffiths, comments: “We see a great benefit of enhancing timber knowledge of our customers’ employees and to experience the scale and efficiency of our forests and Swedish production facilities is a unique experience.”
