With the backing of AkzoNobel technicians and product developers, specialist adhesive company AdCo is able to offer a full and comprehensive range that includes UF, MUF and PRF systems, EPI and PVA adhesives, as well as hot melts, PUR and contact adhesives.
Last year AdCo (UK) Ltd celebrated their twenty-first birthday. For most business celebrating such a milestone is an achievement in itself but 2020 was an extra special year. Michael Climpson, managing director of AdCo UK Ltd celebrated 51 years within the adhesive industry and as such he felt it was time for him to step down from the day-to-day running of the business.
Michael adds: “The business is still in good hands! My son Stuart, who I set the business up with in 1999, has taken over from me as MD, my other son, Christopher, has joined the business to focus on the commercial side of the business whilst my other son, Matthew, focuses on the e-commerce side.
“Knowing that the business is being run by my three sons’ fills me full of pride. I can enjoy my retirement to the full and watch them grow in an industry that I dedicated my whole life to.”
